ISLAMABAD: 33 Pakistanis including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif are among the ‘500 Most Influential Muslims for years 2015-2016’ – issued by Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre (RISSC).
The list starts with overall Top-50 Muslims and the remaining 450 are divided country-wise in 13 categories – without ranking. Beside Nawaz and Raheel, Hajji Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab, Prince Agha Khan and Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Usmani were also among the overall Top-50 Muslims while remaining were adjusted in the categories.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Maulan Fazalur Rehman, Syed Sajid Naqvi, Sirajul Haq, Tahirul Qadri, Allama Ilyas Qadri, Salimullah Khan, Abdul Qadeer, Maulana Tariq Jamil, Balqees Edhi and Malala Yousufzai are also included in the recent list.
