KARACHI – Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal on Thursday said that a former British diplomat Shehryar Niazi has verified the connections between Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Indian intelligence agency.
Addressing the media, Kamal stated that MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s confession in this regards before the Scotland Yard was in the records. He said that Niazi told that Altaf made a written agreement with RAW. He demanded that all organisations whose connections with RAW were verified should be banned. He said that the government and the institutions need to adopt a more serious attitude in this regards.
He said that former interior affairs minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik seemed like a member of MQM and that Altaf had him in his party for monitoring purposes. Kamal stated that MQM leader Farooq Sattar should listen to MQM chief’s speeches prior to taunting others in regards to the tone being used. “Don’t tell lies to the extent that I start telling the truth,” he said, saying efforts to rescue the sinking boat were yet being made.
He added that Sattar believes that PSP cannot speak against MQM and that the party has “deleted its memory”. The PSP chief claimed that the MQM does not form one single team but makes multiple teams and once a team has fulfilled its task, it is murdered. He suggested that the youth must not be part of MQM’s team and stated that the MQM workers should be added to the national stream and that the missing individuals should be recovered and made part of the society.
“These people have done PhDs in killing their own men”, he said. He stated that MQM leaders will get into a lot of trouble if he starts telling the truth, to the extent that they will not be able to enter into their own homes. “I try and pray to God that my mouth remains shut”, he said.
